Who says the berry shades are for Autumn only? Nature knows that a bit of violet is suitable for Spring too.

Before you get the idea that I plan my colour palette months, even years, in advance I must confess that there wasn’t a Purple Plan. You know how it is, a wooly remnant begged to be bought, some jersey once donned revealed its amethyst blooms and a scarf was *finally* finished.

The jersey was made from my very first Etsy pattern purchase, Vogue 7799,

the wool is an edited iteration of the Anne Diamond Skirt, Style 2850.
The scarf is a modified version of the Circles Scarf pattern from Inside Crochet Issue 11, November (2010?). The yarn a single skein of Araucania Ranco Multy.

And next? I might just continue with the semi-precious shades. This:

In this?

I’ve never bought a Burda mag before but I’m loving a large proportion of the Feb. 2013 issue.

Just one thing, having never ‘done’ Burda before. Are the pattern sheets usually drawn with a Spirograph and are the instructions always written by off-duty Ikea-n techical authors?
Nice outfit! Burda instructions are always like that. They don’t use standard English sewing terms, but once you get the hang of it they’re ok.
Thanks! I’m certainly glad that I have a few sewing hours behind me before attempting to sew from the Burda mag instructions. Loving the patterns tho!
He he. Love your description of the pattern. I’ve only made one from the magazine but got it from their website. I only had to battle with the instructions then.
I’m loving the people though that skirt is stunning.
Thanks! Feeling a lot of love for Burda right now!
