Barley Harvest Skinny Scarf
Notes: This is a Double Lace Rib worked in two sections, each end is finished with a picot bind off. The Double Lace Rib is worked in multiples of 6 stitches + 2. The pattern repeats every 4 rows. The dimensions of the scarf pictured are 93 x 5.5 centimetres. The finished size of your scarf will depend on your tension, I knit tight 🙂
Materials: 40 grams Sublime baby cashmere merino silk DK, shade 0003 (vanilla). This yarn is sold in 50 gram balls, you could use a whole ball, I didn’t have that much. 4mm and 3.5 mm needles.

Suggestions for modifications:
* Add a button small enough to fit through the lace ‘hole’ to the area where the two sections meet. Use this to fasten together the scarf sections.
* Make your section break at the half way point, you can judge this by weighing the yarn and stopping when you have used 20/25 grams.
* Omit the plain knit and purl rows and work entirely in the Double Lace Rib.
